Fun ambience, mostly lovely service, good food. Ambience is reminiscent of an upscale diner. We appreciated that. Our main server was wonderful. The secondary one not so much. The French Onion Soup was quite good although not in comparison with one we recently had elsewhere that was over-the-moon for meaningfully lower priced. My steak was as tender and flavorful as I have had in quite awhile and the accompanying frites were quite good. Get street parking if you can because the nearby lots and garages are outrageously priced.

Such a great place for happy hour if you're looking to grab a tasty drink! Despite mezcal being the spirit (think smoky tequila), a Wink and a Nudge was nice and refreshing thanks to the fruit and hint of chili. As for food, I chose the fries as a little snack and the portion was anything but little and enough for 2 people. They were probably some of the best fries I've had, thin and crisp, and seasoned with rosemary and salt. Definitely worth the try!

I had the roadside double was one of the best burger I had I believe chef name Darryl made it I had the bartender Cassandra made a great drink I never had called siesta overall great vibes

My first visit, I ordered the honey butter latte and croque madame. My friend got the French rolled omelette. My second visit I ordered the infamous burger, and my boyfriend ordered a burger as well. I'd say I was happier with my first experience than my second but the waitstaff was amazing both times and we were seated quickly. The ambiance is nice, they did a nice job trying to resemble cafés in France

Saint James French diner is perfect for a light flavorful meal to start your day. Me and my wife dined here for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is small Simple but calming and relaxing. The service was wonderful and they were very helpful making sure we had any questions answered and even suggestions. We started out with their hazelnut and the honey latte and got the French onion soup and ratatouille to kick things off. The French onion soup was just so good with the puff pastry that you pushed into the soup while the soups was so flavorful and subtle. The ratatouille packed a delicious punch of flavor in the first bite and carried the dish through with its veggies. We finished with a French omelet and the croque madame. The omelet was light and so very different from your American omelets. It was simple, flavorful and everything you needed an omelet to be. The cirque was just wow... on its own every bite was beyond delicious and then when we dipped it into the French onion soup... it was a done deal. This was a perfect start to the day. On a side note if you get there later they may run out of the cereal milk latte .. I really wanted to try it but they were out. They also do not take cash. We did not see a sign that specified it so just note that it's card only. Overall we loved our meal there and would love to try their lunch next time.

Stopped in for burgers and fries. Delicious Parisienne burger with crispy fries. Amazing service with friendly and attentive staff. Quiet and casual environment. Plan to return soon for dinner

Stopped by to try their Parisian burger and came into a fairly empty restaurant in the evening (unsure if that's normal) but was able to get right in and seated. The group tried a variety of plates and one gripe I had was that two of the dishes that we thought would be shareable with 4 really came out to be just for 2 and we split the portions into tiny bites per person. Price wise it didn't seem like it made sense to get. The burger itself was different and enjoyable but a little too on the salty/umami side if you are used to a more balanced taste in your burg.

Lunch here is quiet and pretty good. My favorite part of the lunch was the delicious french fries and my awesome burger. The lunch menu is a bit limited, but whatever you order is going to taste delicious. We started off with croquettes for the table and you get about four of them, they're small balls of mashed potatoes that are deep fried in breadcrumbs. For our entrees, we ordered: Parisienne Burger, Americano Burger, and the Pali Chicken Sandwich, each came with the yummy french fries. The bartender made a wonderful old-fashioned for me, and it was perfect. The lemonade is a true French lemonade where it's not like a premixed lemonade or a lemonade from a vendor or anything like that it's actually real lemonade that the bartender created. Overall, our visit was good. The parking is a big challenge. I recommend that if you were coming here for lunch, you give yourself at least 30 minutes for parking, or visit when you're downtown for another event or appointment. Our server was very nice and customer service oriented. We will come back.

Delicious food and friendly service! Was here over the weekend and the restaurant was not too busy. We were able to celebrate a surprise bday for my wife and our originally reservation continued to grow in size. They were super accommodating with the seating as we took up half the restaurant. Their cocktails were made well and our server was also the bartender, so she made great suggestions! The French diner vibe was perfect for our afternoon lunch.
